I have an 04 with this style grille,

I assume its a direct bolt in on my 04 but I want to ask before I order a part that won't work.

 

Ya they are basically the same

 

i have an 08 sport grille on my 05

 

04+ are all interchangeable. I believe there's a grand total of like 6 or 7 different grille assemblys from 04-09 that you could use.

OK thanks STL. That clears it up. I'm going to place an order with certifit tomorrow for the 06+ Chrome grille. All certifit lists is a non stx versions so that means I want the chrome non stx model grille. Oh how is the ford emblem held on? I assume I'm going to have to try to remove it on my original grille, unless its a PITA to get off then I'll just order a new one.

 

It basically just clips on there not anything fancy

emblem you have now may be to small the one for th e06+ is 9" measure the back side of it

 

yeah he's gonna need a new emblem $25 from Ford not bad, it comes with adhesive backing too, so just peel n' stick

 

The front one is peel and stick?

I thought they attach the same as the 04-05 do

 

yep the 06+ grille emblems have 3 pegs on the back side that that slide into the grille and then there's these clips that you dont really need that go on the backside of pegs once you've put in the grille.
