I was wondering if anyone knew the tint laws for Florida? I just had an estimate done for my truck and I wanted 20% but they told me that they dont carry it but 13% looks really close to it. They were going to charge me $160 for everything. I live in Jacksonville.

 

like many states I believe that it is 35%

 

In nebraska it is 20 in the back and 35 for the front. When i lived in Florida I had 15 and got fix it tickets about once every two months. $35 dollars a window sucks big time.

 

35 for the front here too.... pretty sure that's they way it is in most states. But I really don't think the police care to much about it. I've 20% in my front & when I got pulled over for speeding the other day the officer didn't even mention the tint. So you should be safe

 

best way to do it if u get pulled over... say u had 35% put over the stock tint which made it seem much darker thats wat my friends have done, and im doin 20% this spring. get the scratch resistant stuff... and try gila films cuz they are good

35% front 25% rear back window can be 0% if you want, got pulled over and the dick was trying to rack up as many offenses as possible and he measured my ****. I'm in FL

 

Where can you buy 0% window tint? The lowest I can find any where around my house in MI is 5%

i paid 150 for 5% on all my windows on my f150...
im probally going to get around 10% this go around tho. maybe 5% again who knows

 

at walmart i found 2 1/2% tint, very dark. cost like 15 bucks, not bad.

I know you don't live that close to me but there are allot of shops around me that will do 0%.......

My back windows came tinted from the factory, so I have my front ones done to match.......

I did my own windows 5% but it looks Fed up so I wanna get it redone i got a price of 200 for the 3 back and 2 fronts pluse scrape the old tint off. Anyone know if thats a good price? Ive never had them done before so thanks for any input.

 

That sounds about right. I paid $185 for my 3 back and 2 front.
