Now i've been thinking about this i have a 2001 ranger 4x4 extended cab edge. I want to throw a flareside bed on my truck, has this been done? What does it take to do this. Let me know thanks!

 

direct bolt on (as far as i know...Alon has done it) i wouldnt think they would have different mounting locations

 

yeah it bolts right on just make sure u switch fuel filler necks and your good to go.

and it has been done, from the factory haha.

 

bolts right on... you need the filler neck from a flare side.. the bumper...and thats it..

 

Awesome now the big question is where can i find a bed like that thats in nice shape.... anyone getting rid of a flare side bed?? lol

directory to junkyards around you that mnight have a flareside bed. worst case scenerio youll have to get it painted but be reminded its prob not going to be cheap either unless you find someone to swap and your esp lucky to find someone who wants to swap who has the same color as you.

 

what color is yours? if its bright red and wanna drive to albany i will meet u or something..

 

its blue but color isn't a big deal how much u looking to get for it?
