Thanks guys i bought the toolbox from schucks at the beginning of summer and then just recently decided to paint it black because i wanted a black one but they are expensive and mine only cost 120 bucks. i just sanded it up real good and taped off sections i didnt want to get paint on and then used rustoleum gloss black paint. So if you want a black tool box and dont have all the money for it this is the way to go.

What about 3m rubberized undercoating spray? Would that look ok? i painted my frame and skid plate with it and it looks and feels sort of like line-x.
