Icon10 Need an accent color

Ok, so my truck is currently rocking the monochrome look, DSG, black, grey and silver. But I need an accent color. For painting calipers, engine detailing and interior stuff. I want a color that looks good with the DSG and chrome, but is also easy to find in a rattle can, so I can be sure everything matches. Here's a pic of my truck from a while back.

Since this pic, I've added a roll pan, clear corners and chrome 17" Cobra wheels. I would get you a more recent pic, but the weather has been so erratic around here that its been hard to get it clean long enough to get good pics. So, throw out the color suggestions!

I would have said black, but I don't know how that would look with the chrome.

Ok, I already have black and silver on the truck. Those are stand by befault colors on anything automotive. But I'm thinking a splash of color to break things up. But definitely not red. Too common.

I was kinda considering the gold look. Currently I have the stock gold anodized lug nuts on there, and I kinda like the look of the gold with the chrome.

Stone, you might be on to something, Shiner yellow.

So, does anybody make something close to Shiner yellow in a rattle can? Duplicolor makes a yellow engine paint, but it's too light. Maybe a tractor color?

Copper would be different.

Do you want these accents to stand out?

Mixed with some red might be interesting.

I like, but how would that look, say, on the plastic door trim or radio surround? It might work. would be different for sure!

Dont go for the orange, I tried it, looked like I was trying to make a Harley Davidson Ranger (not that there's anything wrong with HD).

try going on google search "meteor Gray Audi" or "Deep Space Gray BMW" those colors are very close to the FoMoCo DSG... and there will be some cars that are modded you could look at, I might wanna add that red is always a good choice for the brakes, but I dunno if I like when people paint those rear drums (get calipers)...lol

A nice bronze would go very nice. Cooper would be cool too. If you're just painting odds and ends like engine components and brake calipers, then you'll be safe to go with red.

I think the truck looks pretty clean as is. I dig monochrome.
