ha that sucks. I'm going to take a comparison photo later when it starts getting darker. It's a HUGE difference between stock and these.

K, these lights are mega fail. They aren't even blue. They're like bright white.

I have no money for mods right now and won't for a while. Being unemployed and moving across the country sucks.

usually, i'd spout off telling how blue lights are illegal, but those are so pathetic, that there is no reason.
my only guess is that maybe the bulbs are less wattage than reg 9007's (55 watts)

Those are crap. The tinted glass on the bulbs actually reduces the light output. Your stock sylvania bulbs are brighter.

Okay, so I tested them tonight. And well...they aren't as bad as initially led on. They are quite blue, and look better at night than in the day. My visibility was good with low and high beam without a ton of glare on snow covered roads, and were even better with my yellow fogs on. So, they have gone from mega fail to a so-so passing grade. I wouldn't recommend them, but they'll work til I get bored of them.

Yup,I see some blue now.

So yeah. They're alright I guess. Not as blue as I'd have liked, but I won't complain.

Damn, those fogs are 80w? I need to get a pic of mine for you, they are whatever the stock wattage is and are like 3 times brighter then yours lol. It might be because of different housings you have though. Either way, looks good.

I ran Eurolite halogens in my truck before I got the HID's, and they were ok. Nothing to get excited about though. The HID's were on the back burner along with the headlight mod and so far, I'm impressed with the HID switch.

Looks like your fog lights need adjusting: drivers side up pr passenger side down. (according to the beam on the wall)

Mike does not like the yellow fog lights. Mike suggests using Silverstar headlight bulbs. They are good. Mucho bright-o.

I refuse to keep buying Silverstars. After 4-5 years of using them and having them constantly burning out and spending $40/pair every time, it gets expensive, especially when replacing them every few months. I also preferred my stock headlights in the Mazda over the Silverstars that were in it when I got it.

And yellow fogs FTW. Glare reduction and better visibility FTW.

Edgeaholic...The higher fog light is the one that I just replaced. I had actually just pushed it up a little bit when I was wiggling the plug around for the bulb. So yeah, it can be adjusted easily.

And Korey, they don't look that bright in photos, but on the road they light up ALOT infront of me and on the sides. I also don't have the nice clear lenses like the Rangers have, mine are kinda dull and not clear.

keep in mind that running a higher wattage bulb may and likely will fry your factory harness....it fried mine and one headlight was brighter then the other. Took some time, but it did it lol
higher wattage halogen love....learned the hard way. but it was easy to fix.
