I know we have tried to do a group buy in the past year and WAAG agreed to make a limited number sets, but it fell through because they couldn't find the jig they used to make them if I remember right. I don't know if anyone has one on the forums but finding one of those is very hard.

If you did some searching, you'll see a multi page thread where a group buy was tried to get going.

As said earlier, they are discontinued andhave been out of production for probably going on 4 years now. And if you get enough people interested and willing to drop the green, Wilma(i think is her name) over at Waag would most likely entertain a group buy run of waag sportsters.

Close Shane, it's Irma. Here's the thread about our original purchase order that I am willing to try once more after the first of the year.

I'm guessing they dropped it due to them releasing a newer model. The new one extends up to the hood just like their brush guard. The new style guard also allows them to produce many of the grille guards. When someone wants a full brush guard, they just have to ****** one of the grille guards and add the headlight guards. With the old style it was impossible. Also i've been told that the company's focus is more on powdercoating than their guards.

Yeah but most companies that make them are for only certain applications. Mainly vehicles that have police packages.

True but if you don't already have a welder, or know anyone that does, then you're kinda screwed. I would also guess that if a shop fabbed one up it would be more expensive and have to leave the truck with them a few days for design and test fitting.
