i have a question about wheel spacers

so whats the point of wheel spacers.
i was going to buy them but lol all i know is that it makes your wheels pop out a little more.
is that it

give it a wider stance. and also for clearness problems

...Do you need them is the real question when u turn your steering wheel to max lock does it douch your sway bar or your frame or anything? If not then it would be a waste of money

naw my wheels dont hit anything. so yeah its a waste haha well thanks.

Wow, those must be some special wheels! How do they know when the sway bar isn't feeling so fresh, and when to administer the douch to the frame?

Mine help my standard width rear axle get closer to my full width front SAS. Also, they adapt the 4.5 inch bolt pattern to a full size -- but I'll be swapping axles to get rid of them as soon as I can because I don't like them.
