Well, Ive never had to take my tailgate off, so I might leave it as it is.

What would you recommend for a quick disconnect?

i just used crimp on spade connectors and the first time i tried to undo them i pulled the wire out of both of them. today i was looking for connectors on the internet and found these that might work better if you soder them to the wires and then cover the soder with heat shrink.

lol.

Yeah, my tailgate mod resembles DC-1's

.....You either love em or hate em.

After a couple of days, I like it even more. Im glad it did it like this.

I think it will look AWESOME after the bumper goes on along with black rims etc. etc.

it will hopefully look better when the bumper is finished next week *ahem*

right now i think it looks funny because there is clearly a place to put the plate on the bumper, and also there is a flip flop over the plate which is a little odd.

Flip-flop over the license plate must be a Nashville thing

Just the bed soo far. Maybe I will do more later.

The cover is just a black metal surround that I picked up from advanced auto.

i think it could look better with the plate mounted lower and a smaller 2 tone section of bedliner around the plate. gets the job done so run it

Hey Zach, you were right about how bright this thing is.

I was on I-95 last night, and I was lighting up the lane next to me and the grass next to it lol.
