well bought 4 cragor v-5's and some dunlop mudrover 31/10.50/15's and a topper from a member here and then painted my grill black. I took off the valence and not sure if i like it better or not im also thinking about getting the 01 front end and getting a tube bumper with a skid plate made for my truck and what do you think about cab lights?. Do you guys think it would look good if i painted my topper black with plasti dip til i got the money to get it painted? or just color match it first. What about headlights? they look terrible halos black them out? i know it is alot of questions but I want opinions on what else you guys think i should do to my truck.. thanks!

I like where its going. Paint the topper either to match the truck or black, paint the center caps and put an 01 edge painted bumper and valance on the front and it will look great. You can even plasti dip the center caps and topper for he time being.

 

yeah thats what i was thinking and do you think a 01 bumper would look better than a tube bumper with a skid plate? i want to get rid of the look of that ugly box hanging down "protecting" the radiator

 

What is that a custom skid? Yeah an edge bumper would look good.

 

im not sure.. i got it that way i thought they all had it.. But i like the bumper but im torn about getting a pre-runner style bumper

I vote bedliner too. As for the cab lights I've never been a fan. I think it would look better with an Edge bumper like mentioned above or with the stock valence back on.
