get cold cathodes. you can find them at most computer parts stores. They are brighter and last longer and don't give off any heat.

Buy 2 kits and double them. I think D. did that, and it looks good.

be careful, I bought a "yellow LED kit" and they turned out to be orange and dim. Your best bet is the neons and not the LED's. The LED kits are cheap. I had a green neon kit that lasted me 4 years, and even survived offroading in the ranger. Go with the neons and not the LED's. From personal experience

I think the nice full glow of yours looks great, but i am actually looking for a softer glow. Plus, right now i am just experimenting. I am not sure if i want a neon kit and the cheapest is probably the best for me now just incase i dont like it. There is a Civic that runs around near my house that is totally riced out (partially cracked, mismatched body kit, factory wheels with cracked hub caps, big **** wing that should be on a plane) and he has neons on that thing and i dont want people to see that piecer and then see my truck and put them in the same category.

well just a thought but if you really want to go the ghetto look i highly suggest duct tapping solid color christmas light on, and hey if you are looking to spice it up a litle go ahead and throw on some tinsle (you know for the flash factor) but really i want to take a power converter and try that on my little'ol ford escort, just to see the looks on everyones faces as i cruise main street.

FYI, He doesn't have that truck anymore(totaled). Look at the date on the thread, it's 6 months old.

While I see you are new here Brandyn, I'll cut you some slack as your sarcastic reply to a fairly old thread is riddled with run-ons. See nobody is perfect...
