Body lift help/ hurry plz!

so i jumped head first on my bl install, i only had like 2 hours before dark/rain , today and i got the bed up , sort of .
First problem i did not read any of the instructions! i am a dude go figure,
Second i do not know if you are suposed to put washers on the top & bottom of the black pucks, i did because without em the metal square supporters were lifting the bed to high for the six pucks to sit flush.
i also lost one of the original clip in stock washers (the ones that the bed bolts attach to. Great this is going sketchy as hell already
not to mention i get the cab task tomorrow , Sweeeeeet ! ! ! < sarcasm

take those washers out of the bottom. washers only go under the bolt head. read your instructions. get familiar with them.

I read 'em over probably a good 3-4 times BEFORE turning a wrench or pulling the trigger on an impact.

I was quoting you because he needs to know that he needs help...wasn't implying it to you. Just putting your suggestion out there as well as my offer to help.

Hahahhaha.. nice man.

And Stone I totally agree with you, I always read instructions while I'm taking a dump. It's a nice way to really focus in on what's ahead of you..

hahah ok

but the real question i have is whydo these-

38) Weld the overload support brackets to the frame. There are four (4) locations (two{2} on short bed models) where the cross supports rest just off of the frame and there are no mounting bolts ( over the wheel wells). Weld the overload support brackets to the frame in these locations. This is so the cross supports have something to rest on when a load is placed in the bed. We recommend that all welding be done by a certified welder only.
raise my bed to tall for the pucks to sit flush without the addition of the washers,?

All you gotta do is place the steel 'crush' blocks between the bed crossmembers and the frame....then tighten the bed bolts. The 'crush blocks' open side should be facing forward and back on the truck. No need to weld.

NO WASHERS EXCEPT UNDER BOLT HEADS!!! IF YOU PUT WASHERS UNDER THE BLOCK, YOU WILL RUN OUT OF WASHERS FOR UNDER THE BOLT HEADS.
