Im new did i get a good deal???
i just picked up a 94 short bed short cab 3.0 5 speed 2wd ranger with virtually no rust 130000 miles no dents good tires and nice interior for 300 bucks. only problem is someone broke 3 plugs off in the heads. i just got the truck yesterday and tonight i have the motor down to the block. got the broken plugs out and almost everythings about to go back together. the motor is so clean inside you can eat off of it. these pics are BEFORE i buffed out the paint. it sat under a tree for a few months. tell me what u think

ha thanks guys i just got it yesterday so i cleaned up one rim and buffed out one side to see how it would turn out. ill take updated pics as soon as it gets out of my shop and out into the sunlight. and ya it will just be a dd nothing too wild. if anything i might lower it a little and put a nicer radio in it
what do you think this thing would be worth realistically saying everything worked good and it looked and ran great.. and what kind of mpg should i expect out of it? my other truck is a full size built cheby and i get about 8-9 mpg and im hoping to do a little better with this truck haha
i wouldnt say my interior looks new, its got some wear but it has no tears or holes anywhere and the dash inst all messed up. and thanks i feel better about spending my last 300 bucks on it now haha going to school and working 40 hours sucks
plugs are out, everything is cleaned, motor is ready to go back together.. i got curious and checked the axle code and it sed f6 which i found out is a 3.73 limited slip diff??? were these good/strong stock? or rare? i thought it would for sure be a one wheel wonder..
I paid $2000 for my 98 xlt 2.5. I bought it from a college professor that only used it to haul fire wood for his wood stove. Bed is beat up but the insides look brand new. I like it but would have gladly paid less for it.
