New here from SC.

New to the forum. Had my Ranger about a month now and been looking at the different forums for solid information. This seems to be a pretty educated group when it comes to technicall stuff so here I am.

Truck is a '99 4x4 Off-Road 4-dr, Supercab, 4.0, automatic, 4.10 gears LS rear. When I bought it mods were.........3" PA Body Lift, 2" Torsion lift, 33x12.5 Dayton Timberline AT's on 15x12 Pro Comp Rock Crawler 88 wheels, JVC Cd Player, Front and Rear Reese Hitches, Euro Tails, Clear corners and Westin Nerf bars. Since I've had it I have removed the front hitch, redone the pinstripe, replaced driver window motor, tint the front windows, had to remove a bunch of old stereo sytem wiring to clean it up, got rid of the annoying door chime, Added DeeZee Black PC Diamond Plate toolbox, Foglights, Replaced factory door speakers with Pioneer Coaxial A-series 6.5" 4-ways in front and 6x8 3 ways in rear. Picked up all the stuff for the rear jumpseats which I originally thought had been removed for stereo equipment but turns out was never installed. Rebuilt the lid for the center console which was busted through.

Anyway here it is

That's fine with me I'd always prefer something more private than an organized park. When I lived up in Spartanburg there were quite a few places we used to go around there, a few over around Union and Horsepasture up in the mountains. I'm not to crazy about straight mud anymore but I love to go ride trails and hit some hills, rocks etc.

i know what you mean man, i've heard of horsepasture... is it any good? i'm not really for the mud either, trailriding and some technical rocks is all i really do anymore. i dont particularly care for the cleanup after mud.lol

Horsepasture is a great trailride but more scenery than anything it takes about 3-4 hours to ride from one end to the other and it's rough due to most of the trail is baseball size rock. Only a couple of places to even use 4wd but one of those things worth doing atleast once. It's only open during hunting season though so have to plan for Sept-Jan.

Yea I lived in Florida up until about 4 years ago and that's all we had. I destroyed plenty of parts playing in the swamps and spent countless hours on post cleanup.....let's just say I have had my fill over the years.

Good deal looks like there quite a few of us in the upstate..I am actually right between Williamston and Belton. Looks like we need to get an area ride together maybe hit some trails, grill out, do some shooting, whatever.
