Winter Wheeling Take 2

So a few buddies of mine decided to go winter wheeling. I asked were they were going and if the snow would be to deep for me. They were like no no,,,,,, it will be fine. Now before i go any farther. I have a FX4 with a super lift one 33 Truxsus M/T. They had Jeep YJ's on 37 locked front and rear,. And my one buddy was trying out his new Propane power jeep. Which was pretty cool. Anyway it did not take long before I was stock broke and F*&^. The first hill My transfer case kept slipping out and would only work in 4LO. after about 2-3 hrs. Even 4 LO was slipping out. Then we got in to the bush and it sounded like me ring and pinion in the back were slipping , long story short it sounded like anything and everything that could slip did slip and or grind. Anyway her are the videos that my buddy took and a Few pics I took.

This is the second time my buddy Ted ( same guy who is going to be doing my SAS) blew his tire.

Also we came up with a very different way to change a tire.

the clip was taken after the tire was changed but you get the idea.

So all in all I had a good time. Now I just need to beef the crap out of my truck.

Cheers
Chris

That last video reminds me of that picture of Matts truck the last time he broke it and had it hanging from the tree. Nice videos. Looks like it was fun. Sucks about your truck though.

Ya it does suck but o well. As soon as I took it out of 4wd it sounded ok. I will be taking it in to work on Monday and checking it all out. Plus like I said I am going to be SAS'd in the near future.

O trust me Pawel Of all the parts that COULD be giving me a hard time... they will be replaced and upgraded come Mattawa. Also my buddy Nick with the Propane powered Buggy might be coming to Mattawa. He is going to Roush creek in a few weeks and might be going to Moab. But he said if he can come he will. So it will be nice to see that thing again.

it looks like you were running FWD in that first clip... i'm thinking maybe your t-case is shot...

i would say rear end, but it stopped doing it when you put ti in 2wd...

nice vids, looked like a fun day!

Im pretty sure if you watch closely the rear passenger side tire is also throwing up snow. thats what happens without a locker.

Nice vids.

That jeep made that creek crossing look so easy.

If anyone tried running offroad vehicles on skidoo trails up here, someone would get shot. LOL
