Well, it's a new week...and a new item to replace on my '91 xlt ranger

So I've got a new battery and new gatorback belts, but the voltage will spontaneously drop on my '91 xlt if I turn on the headlights and windshield wipers at the same time.

My guess is that the alternator isn't worker properly, so I'll have to get a new one.

Where should I buy it from to get it cheap?

How much should I expect to pay?

 

auto zone, murrys, napa, pep boys... its called auto part stores start heading to them...

might be around $80-$100...

 

i got a duralast from autozone and i get a new one if this one fails for the rest ofmy life. so i would recomend autozone

 

you can get a reman one for between $80-$125 at advance and they pretty good
