| I'm still waiting to hear how this new thing measures fuel flow with the Mass Air Flow sensor. |

It also uses information from the MAF somehow as part of the equation to determine MPG. I did not design the gauge obviously, but this is what I have been told. |

| It calculates it the same way the scangauge does, through information through the computer.
How do you calibrate it for tire changes and such? |

| According to Aeroforce it uses a different method than the SGII. At the end of my video it shows how to adjust it for different tire sizes. |

| After doing some more research I'd love to run a dual setup of these, that would be cool as hell. But for the price and how they can't be easily removed from the car, I'll keep my big ugly box lol.
If it was 200 bucks for 2 I'd be all over that. |

| OK. So the SGII is user-calibrated so I know it is accurate. This new one uses the MAF to calibrate fuel flow. And this makes it more accurate, or at least automatic. But nobody knows how or why.
No thanks. |

No thanks. | | What's with the smart ass replies? Like I said, that is what I was told. I did not design the gauge, I do not know how it works. Like I said, obviously it can't read anything that has to do with fuel itself with the MAF but I was told by the person who owns the company that it also uses information from the MAF. |

| That's my whole point. The SGII tells you why so you know it is doing it right and it is accurate. With this, you have nothing but the salesman telling you "it just does" |

| with this being talked about. as far as the fuel mileage how exactly do you set up the scan gauge 2(the boxy one). i have one, and i have never quite understood how to caliberate the fuel mileage and set it all up. and what exactly does the x gauge feature do? (think thats what its called)
thanks
