| 200?
mine stays a steady 192 since the t-stat opens up right about there. 200-220+ = hot engine.
oil pressure at start up should be pretty high...i wouldn't say 100....but idk late model engines all too well in that aspect. at idle is when oil pressure is it's lowest. |

| oil pressure should be about 40
and water temp should be 190-200 ish
when i installed my aftermarket gauges i had to open them up and remove the needles and place them in the right positions (after the truck warmed up) so i knew where to put them |

| well i got them done, sorry no pics. It was too dark. I got the ultra lites and the dual pod on the a pillar. for some reason my oil pressure is reading over 100. Truck is running fine. I know before on my dash lights the check gauge was on which was part of the reason i got aftermarket gauges but i spliced into the wires by the current sending units. Any suggestions? I got water temp and oil pressure. the water temp one seems to be ok. |

| all was well last night. Today got up wnet to class and all that. gauges were working fine. Somewhere in the mix, my fog lights on my truck that were on anytime the key was in the truck did not turn on and my headlights turned on with my parking lights and then stayed on when i flipped the headlights on. I have off road lights too and those worked ok. What went wrong??? |

| Your Oil pressure one is not right. What engine do you have?
Seems like you have short on your oil pressure wiring somewhere. |

| When installing an aftermarket oil pressure gauge on any engine, you have to remember that the pressure will depend on where you locate the sender. I have 3 oil pressure gauges on my evo (2 aftermarket ones, and 1 factory sender that pins to the ECU) and all 3 read different due to location. This is common. |
