Twin Turbo Ranger

Does anyone know anything about this truck? http://www.idaautomotive.com/changin..._a_map_sen.htm other than it has twin turbos in it? I would love to get in touch with these people, but I know nothing about the truck, and cant find anything else about it on their website.

Badass truck but your really only need one good turbo unless you are putting out really high numbers.

No kits. Everything is custom.

I totally disagree with you based on experience. I switched my FD to a single scroll single turbo setup with much more power than the stock twin setup. Twin turbo's are usually better for spool because of the smaller compressor/turbine sizes. Sometimes on V-Motors a twin setup is better due to plumbing and space constraints.

When it comes to turbos the most important things are:
1 - how well is your engine made
2 - how good is your fuel supply

This is why I used HKS internals and 1200CC injectors/walbro fuel pump BEFORE I upgraded my FP-Red to HTA35 on my car.

Twin turbo Ranger??
4 cylinder Ranger, Sequential turbos, well over 400 RWHP, full 30PSI @2500-2800 RPM's... :)

This was him last fall. The truck should be much quicker on a better track, especially after he had all winter to work more bugs out.

his time is slow because of his weight. he weights 4000 pounds which is a lot. if he had a regular cab and weighed 3100-3300 it would make a ton of difference. cant just look at horsepower gotta look at the weight to.
