I have a 1993 ranger splash 4.0L Im wanting to run 33x10.50 tires at one point but dont exactly have tons of money for a lift. I was thinking of running super cab coils and coil spacers will that provide enough lift in the front? Im worried about it throwing the alignment way out on the front end though?

 

super cab coils are the same as the ones you have now

 

alright well in that case looks like Im doing a body lift instead thanks.

 

From reading is it possible to gain lift by swapping explorer coils in?

 

no if you had a 4 cylinder you would gain an inch but with the 4.0 there will be no difference but you can get 1.5 to 2inches lift from swapping the rear leaf springs in

 

well I would consider leveling coils with spacers but then it would most likely def throw the front end out of alignment

 

anything over 2inches lift will require drop brackets for the front end in order for it to be aligned

 

just get a bl and call it good

I had 3'' BL with 1 1/2" coil spacers and ran 33x12.50's on my 93.

 

Same here. I actually ran the 33x12.50's without the body lift for about a week. It rubbed on every bump and turn.

 

dont waste your time or money with rough country the passenger side use a plate to drop the factory bracket and will put a hole in your front diff
