06 Rear end

06 Rear end

Ive got a 3.0 ext cab and with no Posi witch is No bueno. Whats the best way to get posi? Buy the gears and swap or swap the axle. Its all stock and im assuming there are stonger rear's out there.

I would just swap the rear end completely

Is yours 4x4? If so you need to find either a 2wd or 4wd one with the same gearing. What I would do is just get a locker for the one you have now

Get a locker then, it'll be alot more useful then a posi. Posi is ok, but if your gonna be spending money on your rear end, might as well get a locker

Do they make one that doesnt go "Clank Clank" and that will hold up to a V8?

I don't know much about how lockers work, just what they do. I'm still in the process of learning about them but I'm sure someone who knows more will chip in

If you're going to be putting a V8 in it, you should just put an 8.8 in it out of a 4.0 liter truck or a 4x4.
