CB Antennas? How did you mount them?

I used to have dual 4ft firesticks on my GMC but Im afraid to do it on my Ranger because of how much smaller it is.... I think it might look goofy. Anyway..... post some pics of your antenna setups. Whips, fiberglass sticks, window antennas, whatever I wanna see it. Also.... where did you mount ur radio?

ran it across the frame, behind the tail light, through a hole in the bed to the antenna.

Don't do dual whips if you have a 2wd, which it appears you do... it just looks goofier than all hell on 2wds...

I do a mag-mount, smacked on the roof. Cable run through the ex-cab door.

But then I don't use a CB very often.

Just remember that the higher the antenna the greater the distance you can transmit.

Those duals posted above is about as worthless as **** on a boarhog.

Here's mine....

'99+ Super Duty fender mount...click here for linky. I shortened it by 3/4" to make it more asthetically pleasing to my eyes. I also used nutserts/threadserts instead of self tappers. Alot more secure and alot more permanent and it also helps with grounding.

Running the best style of antenna stud that uses crimp on terminals as opposed to the junk screw on type. Running a 5' FirestikII.

I was looking on here to see if anyone mounted theirs on their rear bumper, like I wanna do with mine, I wanna use mine instead of the stock antenna for am/fm, and I won't ever actually use it as a cb, I don't need to, I just like the look. But I want to hide my mount inside the corner of the bumper kinda, the lower the better cuz its a 7 foot fiberglass deal. Anybody done something like that?

4 ft firestik on an alon mount. I put my cb against the middle seat with velcro, works pretty good.

The guy who tunes my cb said you reall dont wanna mount your antenna on your bumper because you wont have a good ground. im running a 102" whip on my toolbox hooked up to a superstar 121 hi/low cb and you can hear me for a long way out lol

kiltro i always run my cables going through the rear sliding window on my old truck but i think on my ranger im going to run it under the truck and have it coming through a hole in the floor that way it will be as hidden as possible
