ok, so i'm about to go and start tearing up the inside of my truck, trying to install this new gentex mirror i got, how do i get the old one off?

next, what is holding up the headliner? i need to run the wires and just want a quick explanation so i'm not going in completely blind

 

You use a small screwdriver to disengage a clip and then slide the mirror off.

To drop the headliner some, take off the plastic cover on the drivers side a-arm and then the visors and you should be able to get it down enough to get wires up there.

There is a small plasti plug behind the sunvisor clip, just pull on it?
