Bodylift Pics

I did a bodylift a few weeks ago, I haven't gotten around to taking pictures of it until today.

Looks like I'm going to have to get some #1 bars, I have them maxed and it used to be level.

Trucks looking good man. I like it. Dont know why you would want to get rid of your spare tire. I like to use them when I get a flat.

Stock spare is 100% useless when you have larger tires if you have a limited slip rear end you can not use a different size tire you will eat the ever loving **** out of the diff and with the front end it is bad news also. so ditch it

i like spares also thus why i have a matching 33 in my bed

Looks pretty nice. Bigger tires would make it look perfect.

Thanks for the comments guys.. the spare tire is there because without it for some reason with that bumper you can see everything underneath the truck, like rusty frame, gas tank, even the gap between the bed and frame. This summer I'm going to paint the frame and see if it looks any better, but I think it's because you can see through the bumper, you can literally see everything under the truck and it looks like crap.

A gapguard isn't a bad idea, when I have some time I'll play with it and see how it looks. I did gap guards on the sides with black vinyl matting, and I still have a bunch left.

I got the rear bumper from another member on the site.

That's the second time I've seen that bumper...I like it a lot. Any chance you could take a few more pics of it from the different angles? Like straight on, underneath, angled from the sides, etc? Thanks man.

looks like it would be pretty simple to make... 2 pieces of 2x2 box steel, weld some caps on, and some shackles at the mounting location, to hold the 2 pieces of box steel apart

it does look sick

truck looks good. just make some gap guards for the bumper, I had everything painted black on my truck so it never really bothered me, or i just didn't really look hard enough...

Actually the bars are maxed. I have (can't remember the initial) but the second strongest bars. I'd like to get #1 bars and shackles. I'm not doing shackles until I get #1 bars though.

Yeah the #1 bars are the way to go and those with the shackle will make it sit a lil higher i think it was about a 2" difference on mine...i would ecommend takin to someone who is really good with alignments and get that done too if you haven't already.
