adapting bumpers

i did some research and found out that cherokees are the same width and found out that cammodowns bumper is from custom 4x4 fabrication. so i found this bumper and it looks like it would look really good minus all the brush guard crap.
i also found a local landrover shop that would fab up some brakets for me so i could put it on but when i asked him if he could custom make me a bumper he said it would cost around 1500 bucks which seems like highway robbery to me

It is going to take a lot of work to make that bumper look like it is supposed to fit on a ranger, so I don't want you to think that you can just make some brackets and it is going to look good. Nothing really matches up on it except the width and even then we had to redo the sides of it because it didn't match up.

Also revo, you will need to upgrade your suspension in the front cause that much weight in the front will make things sag.

I plated the winch hole cause I'm not getting one anytime soon, then added the tow hook mounts, drilled for light holes, added the bars but you can get creative with that or not have any, but I wanted something to break up how far it sticks out.
Then redid the mounting brackets again once I got a body lift
About 15 hours of work with me and my buddy at his shop and he is a certified welder and that is what he does for a living.
So you better check around unless you or you know somebody that can weld and fabricate things cause it can still get real expensive if you want it to look good. Cause trust me it won't look that good if you don't fix things about it. You will be able to tell 100% that it doesn't belong on there.
and b rated bars will not hold up. I got rancho shocks and #1 bars to make it not nose dive and bounce.
