Panel Repair
Alright well once it warms up here in michigan I have a bunch of body work to do on my truck b/c its old and rusts, so I decided to try and fix a small hole in the bed of my truck. I found the hole when I applying bed liner and my finger went through.
Here is the hole before I started
This is a piece I cut off of my radiator support a while ago that I cut to size
Once I started I found the hole was a little larger than I expected so I ended up making two more pieces to weld in
After the first panel was welded in and the second hole cut
And these last 2 pics are of it almost finished up
Once i smoothed it out the best I could I coated it in primer and once it warms up i'll bedliner and undercoat the section. Its not quite as rough as it looks in the pictures, but it's not bad for my first time, and it's only the bed.
Questions and Comments appreciated, especially ne tips you might have!

hey nice job on the patch , i myself have a 91 and it was mega rusty (canadian winters, lots of salt=lots of rust) lol so we replaced a few chunks of the frame and some crossmembers and the gas tank skid plate, a bunch of sections on the box, amazingly the cab was in decent shape only one rust hole in the floor so ill give you a bit of advice, where there is some rust you will find more so just do a check (thourougly) maybe pull the box off if you can and take a good look underneath, clean up and surface rust and paint it and patch any holes to make your truck last as long as it can cause theyre awesome trucks! anyway thats my 2 cents good luck with ur truck
