Be careful on ebay on what you bid for. You just might win. I am now the proud owner of not just one but two PH3050A's

I'm just thankful I lost the other 3 bids I made.

I've got one of those.
Got a Mac one too.

I don't get real excited about tools anymore. I think I have them all.

Well I ended up winning two bids at $170 & $140. So that comes to $155 each. Instead of getting the Snap-On Quick release chuck for $60-70 I will get the IR chuck for under $20.

These are previously used. They have 2 or 3 scratches on them. You can see from the photo the barrels are scratchless. They are as like new as you can get. They came from pawn shops so I guess the mechanics might of had a sudden change of career or had to pay the mortgage.

I saw one with a S-O chuck go for $171 but you have to know when to let go. I had a feeling that if I would have raised that bid it would not have stopped all the way to well over the average $235-250.

I truly believe that the sellers have alias accounts and they go in there and make counter bids to falsely drive up the price on an unsuspecting newbie bidder.

I am a member of the largest ebay sellers group in the country. I don't sell a lot of stuff, but I can tell you that MOST ebay sellers will not influence their auctions. It is fairly easy to prove it now. And some people are making too much money selling to jeopardize being booted off for life. There are still lousy sellers. I bought a 32/36 Weber carb. without a reserve for 100 dollars that was never shipped to me, after payment was made. I got my money back, but the delay held up the project though.
