Headache rack build, 2010 FX4

Hey guys, figured i'd post a few pics of my headache rack I built. It's overkill (2x2x188w HSS along with 2x1/4'' flatbar louvers), but it's getting double lifted with 315s so it'll make it look tough...I've already started planning out a killer front bumper design with winch cradle, and toolboxes (OR maybe rust collectors..we'll see)

Fitting

Fitting

and more fitting

and voila

Looks good, but a little tall. I think it would look better if it were even with the top of the cab

Calgary is better than Edmonton, I was born in Red Deer, lived in Fort McMurray 20 years

I was thinking about levelling it off with the cab however, I still wanted to have it useful enough to lay sheets of plywood or lumber down onto. It works well with my quad, so i'm no longer worried about writing off my rear window lol, Also 2'' tubing didn't really leave me any lee-way with my rear cab light, so I went a little higher as not to block it heh

As a full-time welder, i realized I could've just went out and bought a regular headache rack. But they just look too cheap for my liking. Something about 1.5'' tubing..I like the look of 2'' better lol

Man, that is sweet! You really could make some money selling those! I also want a headache rack for my pickup also but money is tight right now. Let us all know if you start to sell those.
