Finished traction bar (lots of pics)

Well i got he traction bar on last weekend and i love it makes the truck much better offroad and on gets sideways on wet pavement pretty easy now. I suggest this design to anyony with wrap or hop in the rear end, Im pretty sure the slip design would not work its a dumb design now that i think about it.

I had to move the shock to behind the rear axle so here is my upper mount.

dude, that looks awesome.

the only thing - you made that top bracket too narrow. you have hiems on there, but you didn't leave any room for them to twist.
a wider bracket with some misc spacers in there would give you alot more flex.

good job though.

Your giving me some ideas on how to do my shocks. what do your bottom (axle) shock mounts look like?

Looks great man! I like it!
That is the style I would go for also!
I think slammer may have a point, the forward mount could maybe afford to be a little wider to allow some twist in the rod ends. The helicopter I fly has rod ends everywhere with thick washers on each side, to allow more twisting without hitting/bending the brackets. But then again it may be fine, time will tell. Just keep an eye out for wear hard wear marks in there. A sleeve would be good around that bolt too.
Overall, it looks awsome!
Have you flexed it out with the traction bar in there yet?

I am pretty sure the heims have enough room in there i was going to order a misalignment spacer for the top but then i forgot, I put it on the hoist in the school and it had the same amount of drop as before the bar went on i measured
There are not many spots around here to wheel but i have a couple of me messin around.
