james duff either made a small run of them for the rangers or they still make them. a member here named pat , screen name "doc", has one and it looks pretty good.

well just to give you a hint the good majority of rangers here are 2001 and up. the only difference really from the truck i spoke of to yours is a couple of cosmetic changes. so the the carrier i spoke of would work with yours...

also james duff has a few things in the works for newer rangers is what the rumor is.

i looked at docs, that is about what i am looking at doing except the bumper will wrap around the sides of the bed to give some protection to the rear of the bed. I use to own a jeep and kind of miss the after market support.

Docs tire carrier is pretty nice from what I've seen of it in person. If you have any questions about it shoot him a PM. Hes a good guy and I'm sure he'll help you out with any questions.

Just call James Duff and ask them the difference in mounting points...they're supposedly making a set of Trac Bars for 01 and newer Rangers. Apparently one of their employees has a '03 or 04 FX4 LII they're using for "trials"

the traction bars out now will work on newer trucks all you need as a grinder. you have to round off one of the sharp corners and angle a little on a part that mounts to the leafs its really easy..
