Homemade Front Mount Hitch

Its finally done. I just need to install it and fab up
a license plate mount. It exits through the front
valance. The only thing that i didn't make is the
receiver tube which i bought at Tractor Supply Co.
Total cost: receiver tube - $15
cross tube - $8
primer & paint - $9
TOTAL = $32

Now, enough talk... here's the pics.

Well, kinda... I drew them up on AutoCAD and used the
CNC plasma cutter at work to cut them out. Its simple
when you have the right tools. haha.

That looks very sturdy! I like the added gussets along the edge. That thing should be tough!

I don't think I will be making them for sale...
Seems like a lot of work and a liability.
If something broke and hurt or killed somebody, I wouldn't want to be liable.
I hope you guys understand.

yeah thats probably a good idea, Just the other day a guy at my school lost a skid plate out in the desert that was fabbed up by one of his buds. a bolt or something sheared and he ended up running the skid plate over and it came up and tweaked his exhaust (luckily thats all that the damage that it did) but still...
