Little Aluminum project
Tested out the spool gun on my new miller 211. Works pretty good, takes a little getting used to and still need some practice. MUCH different than steel that's for sure. One ski has much better welds than the other lol. Also had to fight the cold in the garage. once you have a few welds going and the whole thing is hot it welds like butter. But preheating was a must to start a cold weld any good.
Made some ski's for the fish house up at the lake for getting it around behind my dads Polaris ranger. Going up today to test them out. Still will need to add some points for mounting straps to hold the tires to them and some poly strips on the bottoms for tracking and slickness.
And the Rig that's pull'n the Ice castle fishhouse...blast rip'n in the snow in this.

yeah it's kinda one of those things that lots of people will never see or understand in their life lol. hell just driving on ice most people are like wtf!? We are at about 3ft of ice right now and still sub zero temps, could be quite the extension on the ice auger to get through the ice come spring time.
