I moved my spare to the bed since it would now hang about 3" lower than anything else in the rear and be in plain sight. not sure if I like it here or not. I need the bed space and a regular tailgate, but if anyone has any suggestions for a better place to put it I'm all ears.

It looks great!
I had my doubts about the edges halfway through the pictures, but I like how it turned out a lot!
Now the hitch sticks out like an eyesore though, lol.
'Bout time for some new tires too, eh?

You built that yourself huh? Looks great. I'm all for the custom design stuff for sure. Nice job man! I really need to learn how to weld lol.

Oh and, nice to see there's another rider on the forums. Good stuff.

Looks great dude. Only thing I don't like about the rear is how close in it sits to the truck. Just fab up a basket type deal that goes over the cab with some nice lights on the front and strap the spare down up there?

I just brought the hitch up a bit more so it looks better. I use it to step on to get in the bed though. Been looking into tires for a while, just waiting for a good deal to come up. How are MT baja claws by the way as far as wear, noise and traction. found 5 at 75% for $400.

I wanted it really close in for better departure angle. I dont really want a roof basket since it would block the lights on my headache rack, good idea though.

both bumpers look great, i really like the stinger you added to the front bumper with the lights. its gotta look odd if you dont have the winch in place.

i understand not wanting to block the lights with a basket to hold your spare but i think i would cut the bars for your lights off of the headache rack repaint the headache rack and mount a basket to hold your spare and custom mount the lights on the basket... closer to the front of the truck

yeah, and i have an axe on the other side. it could be hard to get to, but the 97% of the time i dont need it, it is completely out of the way. I use the axe way more than the shovel.

get a welder, building yourself stuff is the only way to go!
