I've seen a lot of bumper build on here lately and decided to post my ideas. This is a step by step process of my plate steel bumper with hitch reciever . I started off with an 8' long piece of 3/16" channel iron and two pieces of 3/16x6" plate steel. I used a trig calculator on my angles. I wanted it to stick out 4" from the header panel. Ended up with about a 8 degree cut. I then heated/bent the angle. The end bends are around 85 degrees.
