will the james duff winch front bumper fit my 04? im sure i will have to modify it anyways since i have a 3"bl. i have searched for weeks and found nothing.. i really want a bumper but cant find anyone to make me one, i dont have many options it looks like unless the yota and jeep bumpers are easy to modify..

 

Not from them but I think you can make custom brackets and stuff

 

honestly i dont really like the bumper but i need somthing, we all know how sturdy the PA bumper tabs are and im stick of my daylighters bouncing all over the place.. im not really a huge fan of tube bumpers but ill take what i can get..

i want somthing like this, nice and simple, and somthing i can recover with..

yeah zach that is nice.. can anyone make me a bumper like the one on the black truck, as far as a winch i think one day i will probobly get teh smitty built xc8000 wich is not that big, so i should only need about 7 inches of depth, light tabs and 2 dring mounts

 

oh also i need a skid plate really bad too.. i think there was a thread where some one made a really nice one ill try and find it.

find a winch mounting plate that you want. post the link. does the winch need to be behind the bumper or above it?

you want the bumper just like the black one? right, so has some angle on the side but does not wrap around the fender? light tabs and tow points will not be an issue. just need to know where you want them

i can see the steel along costing 120-150 i need to get a quote on it. 30 for each shackle mount, shackles will be around 13 each, i know universal winch plates are like 75ish...

just giving some numbers out. not sure on labor costs but it wont be bad

i have a question on winch plates.. do i need to find a spacific size to fit the winch i want? will the mounting holes match up how do i know wich one to buy or even look at?

hey no worries, he might be better off doing that anyway. its always better to build it right on the truck, IMO makes it unique. its not going to be very cheap for me to make it then i have to ship it.

well i still need help with the winch plate.. like i asked before dose it matter what i get? dose it have to be spacific to the winch i want?

 

the bolt pattern has to be the same. i know mine was 4.5x10 not sure if that is standard or what.
