Slider and front bumper plans
anyone have plans they'd be willing to let me peek at? I ask as I'm no engineer, more specifically my degree is biology. LOL
A former co-worker's husband is a fairly handy welder and told me if I can get plans to him we can work on it.
That said...ScottD (Big04Ranger) you have any plans on that front bumper of yours?
And anyone for sliders?

You should make rock sliders! If there was a bolt-on option for use Ranger guys I think you could make a killing as long as they were competitively priced(hahaha, there's no competition).
It would be nice if they were bolt on, and there would have to be a body lift and a non-body lift version. But I bet that people would be interested because, as much as us offroad guys would enjoy them, the non-offroad guys might like them as a replacement to side steps.

www.bbpfab.com has some universal sliders that look pretty beefey and they got some designs on the webpage.

Some basic 4" angle iron sliders for my Samurai are going to cost me about $75 in materials I think... and I'm building them myself!
Buying pre-made sliders that are functional and decent-looking would probably cost in the $250-300 range... They are even that expensive for Sami's... And sami owners are cheap bastards!
