Building a tow dolly, any plans or ideas?

I was wanting to build one, they look rather basic in design. Basically just to use for back and forth trips to the shops to cut down on tow bills, etc.

I have been keeping an eye out for a used one, but none are really affordable. The ones that are affordable are in questionable shape most of the time. I have access to an awesome fab shop, and plenty of material to choose from on the cheap. My dad has built a small utility trailer, and we recently added to a sea ray boat trailer so we could haul the four wheelers.

Was wanting to see if anybody knew where some plans or anything could be found. Thanks.

I had thought about that, but didn't want to really spend $60 to rent one, just to take some measurements and make some plans. Maybe I could go up there when they are closed since they're kept outside. lol

i'd probably take pictures too so you don't have to keep driving up there to double check stuff if you can't remember exactly
