front bumper light tabs

ok so i found some cool little metal tabs that held my bumperettes on for my 88 wrangler. i decided that they will make perfect light tabs. im going to mount them on the front bumper. pictures coming soon!

the lower hole on the tab you see will be cut off

both sides will have the same thing just need to buy another bolt and nut for other side.

Isnt the lower hole so it wont shake or spin and gives added durability to it perchance? Might be worth it to drop a second bolt into it since you already have the first in--

looks like there is a hole already in his bumper. or I may be seeing things. Kinda looks like the slots where the plastic pops on, but that should only be on the bottom

i think i might just drill the second hole in it to hold it better thanks mike. the hole that im using im guessing is for some kind of bumper trim. this isnt the original bumper, when i got in a wreck from this lady rear ending me i slamed another car in front of me. so i picked this up from cirtifit.

ya those slots are for plastic strips, there are bumpers with no slots... like mine... but i would of not mounted ights like that i would just do what everyone else did.

Ya..I see that now...he's got a '99 with a '98 bumper. It's a different location...if you like a bunch of holes.

haha im not the smartest person in the world i just realized it will block my headlights so its a no go thats for the feedback guys!

...or, you could mount them like Brian has his mounted. ...but then you'd need to get the brush guard, first, and install it...



...which reminds me, I need to get some new pictures of the truck and make a new avatar....
