hey man, i've noticed you're starting alot of threads...

just wanted to say welcome to the site, first off. second, if you have a minute, go into the UserCP menu up above, and on the left, click the Edit Signature menu. once you're in there, put some general info about your truck in there (model, year, anything modified, etc.). knowing this information will allow everyone here on the site to know what you've got, so we know what to recommend or help ya out with.

anyways, for the toolbox question, sorry, i dont have anything that'll help ya out! but im sure some people on here will!

instead of searching for a tool box whereever you look, look for tool chest. im the same way, i want a box below the rail so i can eventually get a cover. I think best places to look are trailer shops, they put them on the front of the trailer to carry parts.

Chris, Zach (zabeard) got one that sits below the rail. I believe it was from tractor supply or something like that. I like it alot more then over the rail thats for sure.

if you have a fleetside (regular bed) then you should be able to find a box very easy that will fit under the rails...i know my local autozone sells them...if you have the stepside...then deezee makes one (thats the one the blue (zabeard) has), also just recently i found one at lowes that i plan on getting...it costs $198.

Our Walmart sells the plastic ones, I think they're under 100 bucks. I plan on getting one in the bed soon, cause I wanna get a bed cover soon.

wayyy cheaper and nicer to buy a toolbox/chest than to build your own.

I know this is an old thread but is tool chest anything like the one zabeard has? It just looks funny to me with all the angles and curves and what not.
