brush guard and roof rack

couldn;t decide which forum to put this in...i want to get a brush guard/ push guard. i would like a full guard but i dont have the money for that. so i wanted to get a guard like what cops have; just a couple feet wide with the two vertical bars and single horizontal bar. can't find anything that would fit. if yall know of something, please tell me. i also thought about getting one of those westin safari bars but they dont look intimidating enough for me. i don't know how to weld nor do i have welding tools. if i did have the tools are knew somebody who could do it, i would do it that way. i also want to add a roof rack. i saw this black ranger(hes the one that told me about this site and said to join cause he is a member) in town here that has a custom roof rack with lights mounted to it. its pretty sweet. anyway, let me know, please! thanks

Well you def put this in the right section, because Fabbing is what you need to do.

what you describe for the front is a Waag bar which just happens to be discontinued, and if a bull bar isn't intimidating enough for you, you are SOL unless you get a metal shop to fab up something.

The Black Ranger is Christian, he actually owns and runs the site ( that's like being invited into politics by Dubya himself only smarter) his Roof Rack is also da da da daaaaa Custom. your best bet is tracking down local metal shops and see if anyone will make something for you

I may be selling my WAAG bar in the next month or so. If I decide to actually go through with it, I'll let you know.

EDIT: Oh wait, I don't think it'd fit your 2000. So nevermind.

I want a full guard but dont have the money. the one christian has is perfect but dont have the money. i dont think the westin safari bars are intimidating enough, not the full bars. i saw a picture of a ranger on the mainpage, its silver FX4 with the guard i want. only problem is that i have a skid plate and not sure if that will affect mounting.

That's my truck on the main page. I have a skidplate, you just have to remove it for the install, then it goes back on. But I don't think the bar I have works on your model year Ranger. I could be wrong though...

The roofrack Chritian has was custom made for him by some company.

For a roofrack you'll either need those bars that go across like Yakima, with a basket on top. Or you'll need some little gutter rail attachments mounted on your roof so you can get a basket that mounts to those.
