At my work, we fabricate.
We have 4 Millermatic 350P (the new ones), our older ones are Idealarcs (Lincoln) i dunno what model, its dirtied up. we also have a precision Tig from Lincoln thats over in the corner (you can see how often i tig stuff) and we have 2 brand spankin new Miller Aluminum welders for the new F-150s. Aluminum welding is awesome.

Hobart Handler 140... it's done everything that I need it to do so far.
Exhaust work, this and that needing to be fixed, etc.
I run flux core, I like it better than gas shielded wire welding... I'm better at flux core anyways, so might as well stick with it.
I can say that I'm decent with a TIG, good with a MIG, quite good with flux core, and absolutely horrible with stick welding. Decent with Oxy Acetylene as well.
Those that really can make nice strong beads with a stick welder automatically earn a little respect from me. I can't weld very well with a stick, unless it's 7018 rod, then it's quite easy. 6010, 6013, forget it. I am too incapable of making a good bead with those rods. Same said for TIG... all of the processes are an art and skill of its own...
Still need to build that welding cart yet... I'm sure that the coffee cart is tired of holding up that 140...
