and this is why i hate cutoff wheels. this one blew up as soon as it touched the metal, never by cutoff wheels at ACE they are crap . and yes thats the ceiling of my garage

Great looking bumper for only using a cutoff wheel. It looks like you did some planning before you started all this.

honestly the pictures make it look like crap. all the lines are staight, and the seams look bent not welded, 3 people have come up to me and asked how i bent it like that and the paint is temporary till i get it bedlined.

but cutting long cuts in 1/4" steel is a PITA

umm i didnt really keep track of time, i build in my free time for fun. but if i were to guess, 15 hours of actualy working including designing, measuring..all that crap. but the cut off wheel is what really held me up, would have gone 10x faster with a plasma cutter

I see his stuff on craigslist all the time (think it's the same guy) I could maybe afford one in a month or two. I have to pay for my exhaust first:(
