yay new welder!

welp after 4 years of pinchin nickles into dimes and few loads of scrap iron and and soda cans i bought me a little welder.

got me a millermatic 180 auto set... lol no choice on the auto set. so just need to move my 240v receptical down the wall in the garage and make up my 6/3 50' ish extension cord and ill be set to singe my hair on my arms :)

8/3 will be more than enough! its good for 40amps. Plus the 180 should pull less than my 210 which pulls 28amps

nice welder! you will like it.

I have a Millermatic 180 with autoset. Its a great welder, you won't be disappointed.

yea im not new to welding or the millermatics either. just my first one ive owned..... i had a miller thunderbolt AC225 240v stick machine from 1982. it was a solid machine all copper transformer. wish i never sold it.

im already drawing out my plans for a nice cart for it..... air filled tires and steering haha. and maybe incorporate a lifting eye for pickin up the cart n welder.

ill be documenting my progress here soon i hope. need to re configure my 240v outlet and ad one.
