That turbo is huge. It wouldn't spool. You need something small, like a stock twin off a 2jz motor or something similiar. The motor isn't going to handle much boost, So you might as well run a tiny turbo that will spool quick and make a few psi through the whole power band. Make more torque, shooting for big horsepower up top is pointless.

The hard part is getting the computer to dump in more fuel and change the timing when under boost. At a certain point, the MAF will get overloaded with the airflow reading and won't know what to do. It's a lot more than just getting the turbo in the exhaust and intake stream. Plus, you will get a ton of heat, and probably need an intercooler. I wish turbos were an easy thing to do, but there's a lot of work in them.

My opinion...To do it right is gonna be a real pain and really expensive. Plus for the gains your gonna get from it, it really isn't gonna be worth dumping that much into it.
My roomate just put one in his dakota. He did it himself and said it was a royal pain. Although he is happy with the gains he is getting from it but he also has a V8 with a 5-speed manual. I would bet you could do a V8 swap into your truck for the same price or a maybe a lil more.

I have a SC for sale... the kit is for a 4.0, but i'm sure with new pipes, it would work on a 3.0.

take your truck to Hp Performance in Roswell, New Mexico or Murillo Motorsports in San Antonio, Texas. They will make the hot side and cold side for you and do all the programming necessary.

I will say this. That turbo is WAY WAY WAY too big for your truck. You would spool it......eventually.

That turbo would do you more harm than good.
