I don't have one yet, nor the money that I will need for my build. However, I do plan on turbo'ing my engine, when I do it I will post.

I read somewhere (probably wrong) that you cant turbo a 4.0 SOHC because the boost willtear it up. But I honestly cant see what the difference between turbo pressure and supercharger pressure is. Youd just have to run lower boost pressure for either one. I think 4 psi is about max
And im all for a turbo ranger! Im interested to see if its been done

5PSI is max boost on any stock Ranger engine. SC or TC.

There is a 01-03 turbo 4.0 prerunner build around here somewhere.

It only ran a few weeks and he had to take it off due to issues. Another turbo 4.0 I heard of blew a few headgaskets and finally died running 8PSI.

I give them brownie points for trying it but if I blew a few head gaskets, Id call it quits before it completely blows up

That was me!!! haha.. All i recommend is don't do it if its your DD. honestly it was just so much hassle. so much to worry about.. just be happy with the 4.0 and get better gears.

.
Doubt that, since PSI doesnt really mean anything, and it would depend on the turbo your running...
