FUEL PUMP UPGRADE?

I'm wanting to upgrade my fuel system. Can someone please tell me what fuel pump will work in my 05 3.0 Edge.I was looking at the Mustang pumps. Will these work?I'm looking at 155 LPH.
I just ordered Headers,Pulleys,Roller Rockers,CAI and a progressive controller for my Nitrous. So I figured I would be safe and upgrade the pump.Or is this not necessary?
Thanks for any help.

With nitrous, its probably a good idea. I'm running a mustang 155lph pump on my truck for the 302. I just installed it onto the stock fuel tank piping and sending unit.

Rich (wydopnthrtl) is running NO2. Send him a pm. I think you would be ok with a good tune.

Well after some research.I'm thinking that the 04-06 fuel pump is the same for all motor sizes.I know a Mustang pump works on the older Rangers.I'm just not sure about the newer ones.I think they changed the pump .So I'm thinking that if wydopnthrtl [Rich] can run the stock fuel system on his 06 4.0 with Nitrous and have good A/F. I should be good with my 05 3.0.

This is all theory though so I'll be checking this on a dyno after I install all the goodies.
Any thoughts are welcome.

Walbro pumps should fit. I have dual 255lph in my car and they fit perfect.

86-97 mustang gt pump works. I`ve heard that 190lph is the max you wanna go due to our small fuel lines.

I take it this is a wet kit and your going to pull off the fuel rail?

Here is what I'd do before replacing the pump.

1) Hook up a fuel pressure guage to see what's actually going on.

2) Replace the stock fuel filter with a stock metal replacement. And **drill out the rounded over ends** so that it's I.D. is bigger than the piping going to/from.
Or.. get an aftermarket filter setup if your just bent on spending money.

I'm pushing a 75shot now and this is what I do. (fuel filter w/drilled ends)
Everything else in the fuel system is bone stock.

Just pushing harder is not always best. Removing restrictions should be first on the list.
