Hey guys, most of you all know my ranger was totalled on new years day. I replaced it with a 2004 FX4 f150 Supercrew. Sorry I know this isn't the f-150 forum, but I just wanted to let you all know what I have now! Here is a picture of the damage done to the underside of my truck..
The part of the frame that the leaf spring bolts onto was broke, which caused the total. RIP my friend.. Onto the F-150 pics..
My girlfriend's white mustang and my white truck! haha
I spent all day detailing the truck. I'm going to install my Avic-d3 sometime this week and will keep you guys posted!
Thanks for all the compliments. Spec wise it has black leather, power everything, sunroof, 6" procomp suspension lift, 20" moto metals, 35x13.50x20 Mickey Thompson ATZs, flow master side exhuast, and the billet grills. I added blue turn signal bulbs, LED reverse bulbs, and my camo Georgia tag. I'm wanting to do an AAL to it soon to raise the back up a little more. I was thinking by summer time to put a body lift and 38's but I'm not too sure how that motor would like that, plus I dont want to regear. It was serviced around 100k with the sparkplugs too so I should be alright for a while. I plan to drive it until the wheels fall off.. haha
Yeah if you want to go above 35s I would definitely regear, if not for power just for the transmissions sake. I've heard body lifts are a huge pain in the *** on the 04+ up though so I would ask around a little before going after it.
Sounds like a sweet truck though! A programmer really changes the driveability, you should check them out.
