Stuck hunting this year. -18degrees and about 3 miles from nearest dirt road. Shouldn't have tried going
up there. Was in deep dodo. Couldn't see track for snow so just floored it. Bad idea, went airborn and landed
on top of dirt burm. All 4 wheels off ground. Only way out was with a cat or back hoe. Had to walk 3 miles
back to dirt road. Was lucky other hunters came by and took us down to a ranch. Rancher came all the
way back up the mountain with back hoe and lifted us out. If hunters hadn't picked us up we would have been walking all day to get to help. Maybe my jacked up F250 would have made it through but we would
only have got stuck farther up, then what. There were elk up there but needed snowmachine to get there.

 

the f250 obviously would have been the better choice
