Yea, I wasn't a big fan of the tail gate either and I was looking for an F150 when I found this (was in the middle of test driving an F150 lol), but the deal I got on this for how loaded it is was too good to pass up! Sadly, the Ranger will be leaving me, but I figured after having her for 3 years and putting on 80 000km I wanted to step up to something with a bit more room and comfort. I figure I found that!
Pictures will be posted once I get her home!

I personally love the lincoln mark lt's but I would only buy one if it was strictly going to be driving on the street and thats it but that kinda goes away from the point of buying the truck. Im one that wants to use my truck for what its supposed to be used for so id prolly get the F150 even tho I LOVE the mark lt's. But then id just go get a new lincoln car and have best of both worlds lol

I'm still going to use it as a truck, I wanted to lift my Ranger, but its been having so many little issues that I just decided to upgrade. I got a great deal on the mark lt so thats why I went with it. I only really use the bed, and only drive on paved roads lately. Its killing me waiting until Friday though, but once I get it, I'll have pics up Friday night for sure!
The only planned mod to do right now is an intake and a roush off road exhaust! This truck is way too quiet and needs to be heard before its seen. lol

Depending on the year you might want to rethink the intake, its been reported to cause lean issues on some of the earlier trucks.

Yes, I wouldn't run an intake on any of them without a custom tune. The mass airflow sensor isn't your standard style that is enclosed in a housing like the ranger. It is a speed density sensor (like a little wafer) that inserts into an open section of the intake tube. It is calibrated to measure the air in that size of intake tube. Installing that sensor in a larger intake tube without calibrating the tune will cause the truck to think that it isn't getting as much air as it is. Then it reduces fuel to counteract that and it runs lean.
The intake is mostly just going to make noise anyway. IF I gained any power with mine, I would say it is over 4000k RPM as it does seem to pull slightly better up there, but it could also be a difference in tuning. I would rather put the money towards headers before the factory exhaust manifold starts leaking anyway. lol

Okay, well thanks for the advice on the intake. I guess I'll just stick to an exhaust for now, hopefully a leveling kit and some different rims/tires. There is a little too much chrome on the truck, but I'm still excited. Pictures to come tomorrow! Its too bad I can't get it until after work at 4... Oh well, another sleepless night for me!

Thanks for the compliments guys, I love this truck. I thought for sure I was going to miss the Ranger some, but this truck is everything I've ever wanted lol. It just needs some decent tires for the winter and she'll be much more capable. These street all season tires suck bad in the snow.
