Some shots from today's shooting outage
Well I went shooting today with the fiance, her son, brother and dad. He drove, and this is what happens when you let your father in law drive your truck
my fiance's son:
the .22 thing is a tac driver
me shooting the .22, was in a crappy position
me and her brother:
shooting the XD 9mm
3 wise men:)
the general on his tank directing us what to do:
shooting the kimber USA Shooting team .45 ( i LOOOVE this pistol)
aaand the fun with the truck.... long story short, pulled to what we thought was the shoulder to let a tractor by.. well it wasnt the shoulder, the grass was so high it made it look like a shoulder.. itw as a straight drop off, about 3 feet..
my favorite:

notice the REDNECK hat :)
the truck was resting on the frame, we wernt going anywhere. had to get the tow truck to come pull us out.. was a fun time! lol

Im wondering if 35's would have made it possible to get out?

If it helps you justify them, sure! lol
The truck also would have been sitting 3" higher and slid further down the ditch, so I don't know. Honestly when it's sitting like that, the best thing to do is pull on it I think, rather than trying to throttle out of it and shift the weight around more.

the truck is treating me great! other than a few hicups with the tranny, its running like a champ! i need to get the truck into the tranny shop here and have them install a lift kit, feels like its starting to slip a little. DOES NOT like it when i go WOT.
I leave this month for training, then afghanistan in october(training from now until then). so the truck will be getting new shoes, Poss. a lift thinking about just going with coilovers and bilstiens, and a AAL in the back instead, new exhaust, intake and a Gryphon.
